Taiwan’s NTD 10,000 cash handout program is officially rolling out, offering financial support to millions of individuals. If you’re wondering whether you qualify, how to receive the payment, or how to stay safe from scams, here’s everything you need to know.
Who Can Receive the NTD 10,000 Cash Handout?
✔️ Taiwanese citizens with household registration
✔️ Taiwanese citizens without household registration but holding valid residence permits
✔️ Foreign nationals holding an Alien Permanent Resident Certificate (APRC)
✔️ Foreign spouses of Taiwanese nationals who possess an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC)
✔️ Government personnel officially stationed overseas, along with their dependents who hold Taiwanese nationality
Don’t Get Phished! Beware of Scams
Scammers are actively sending out fake text messages, emails, and phishing links pretending to be part of the NTD 10,000 handout program.
These messages are NOT legitimate. The government has confirmed that the official system is still under development.
How to protect yourself:
Check that any official link ends with “gov.tw”
Do NOT enter bank or credit card information via any email/text link.
The government will not contact you by text or email to claim the cash.

When Will the Payouts Be Available?

📌 Registered Bank Deposits & Automatic Deposits
Available starting: November 12, 2025
📌 ATM Cash Withdrawals
Available starting: November 17, 2025
📌 Post Office Cash Withdrawals
Available starting: November 24, 2025
Deadlines to Claim the Payment
General deadline: April 30, 2026
Parents of babies born in April 2026: Claim deadline extended to May 22, 2026, to allow time for birth certificate processing.
